Rolling out of bed. Getting out of the car. Sitting at work all day...
The tightness in your hips and stiff body are a reminder that you should stretch and more more but still don't have the time to do it.
And of course, thinking how you need to to do more only adds more stress to your day...and that sucks.
I know how it feels to have body goals and to have a hard time going after them because of being busy, having obligations, and not knowing exactly where to start.
I’m a 40-year old business owner and the primary caregiver of my children.
I had to accommodate my changing body during and after both pregnancies.
I gained waaaay more weight during pregnancy than planned, which meant a lot more weight for me to lose after giving birth…I didn’t feel pretty at all.
I didn’t feel like I had the time to figure out how to fix my body and feel better about myself without adding more to my plate.
I know you know what it means to be super busy. You’re busy literally every minute of the day.
You know you gotta do something about your body and the stress but how are you going to find the time to do anything?
You look at your belly and think…ugh.
Eventually, the impact of how you feel in and about your body and weighs on you.
Sluggish, sloth-like movement that makes you feel older than you are.
Increased stress, burn out.
No way to move your body that fits your schedule, is fun and actually works.
Sometimes, you don’t even want to look in the mirror.
I struggled for years with those things too.
And when you’re used to not moving or feeling stiff, moving your body feels awkward.
Like when your leg falls asleep and you try to walk afterwards. 🤣
How can it not affect you mentally?
You tell yourself you’re lazy.
That you’ll never be pretty or graceful like ‘her’.
You think you’ll have a big belly forever.
Your stress level is making you nuts.

Learning belly dance will change your life.
But here's what you really want to know...
The true benefits of learning belly dance with me isn't only about your belly dancing.
It's about the relationship you have with YOU.
You can actually feel good in your body.

Repetition is the key to learning belly dancing. Focusing on thing at a time will get you belly dancing faster.
My Approach
There are 3 things you should know about how I teach.
1 - I break down everything as much as I need to so YOU can get it.
That means you learn with simple, clear, easy-to-follow instructions, a hands-on approach, and a lot of demonstrations from every angle.
I'm amazing at teaching online belly dance classes. Some even say better than in-person classes they've taken.
2 - I repeat everything....a lot.
Missed it the first time? Don't worry! I'll say it again about 57 more times. :) This is important for beginners, especially. I mean, who can remember everything?!
The more you see, hear, and do it, the more you'll remember it.
3 - I want you to ask me questions. Without you speaking up, I don't know what's going on. Don't worry, I'm patient as fuhhhh. 😉
I mean this with every fiber of my being. Alllll of my students ask me questions so you won't be alone when you ask something. And I get to every single one.
I know that you if you are confused about anything, you won't learn well.

Old? Nope! You can start at any age. I have students who are over 6o years old.
Fat? Nope! We work with your body so you can get comfortable moving in the body you have now. Not after losing weight.
Much in pain? That depends. Get clearance from your medical professional first before you start any kind of movement program...belly dance included.
I am able to give you alternate technique to do belly dance movement. But to be sure you are always safe, get medical clearance first.
